Ovenette Bake House ("Ovenette," "we," "us") operates ovenettebakehouse.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account & order information: name, email address, phone number, order details (items, pickup date/time, special instructions), and order history, when you place an order or create an account.
Payment information: we do not store your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor; Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your card data. We store only limited payment metadata (such as a saved payment method reference) needed to let you reuse a saved card.
Communications: if you opt in to text updates, we send order-related SMS through Twilio. If you contact us, we keep a record of that communication.
Technical information: we use a cookie to remember your shopping cart if you're not logged in. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
To process and fulfill your orders, including pickup scheduling. To send you order confirmations, pickup-ready notifications, and account verification codes (by email and/or text, per your preferences). To respond to inquiries, including custom cake/cupcake order requests. To maintain your account and order history if you create one.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS delivery), Resend (transactional email), Google Places (address autocomplete, only if you enter an address), and our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure). Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy terms.
If you opt in to text messages, we send order-related updates (confirmations, pickup-ready alerts). Message frequency varies based on your orders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
You can update or delete your account information, or disable text/email updates, from your account preferences. You can request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@ovenettebakehouse.com — we will do so except where we're required to retain records (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information, so this right is not applicable to our practices, but you retain it under law).
We retain order and account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
